Byron Covington was born and raised in the Bay Area. He Received his high school diploma from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo and his Bachelor’s degree in microbiology and Minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University.

In the early stages of his career, Byron worked in the medical device industry focusing on immunological sciences. He was a Senior Core Lab Manager at a medical device startup, running a small team focusing on research and development.

Due to a shift in company direction Byron was allotted the opportunity to follow his passion of investing and helping others improve their financial situations. The transition from managing laboratory operations to serving as a Financial Services Representative has been under pinned by a steadfast dedication to quality management and client satisfaction. In collaboration with the Grodin Financial team, he ensures that every client interaction is informed by the meticulous diligence and analytical skills that were indispensable in his previous roles in the biotech industry.

Byron, along with his fur baby Baba Yaga, live in Tracy where he likes to spend his free time living a healthy lifestyle, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and making memories with friends and family.

Byron holds his California Insurance License.
