Experience

David is passionate about being available to his clients. His motto has always been that if he is in the office and not in a meeting with a client, he is available to talk to them. He follows up with his clients when questions arise, often very quickly.

David prides himself on being able to answer most questions about financial matters even if that is an area that he cannot help a client with. Of course, he frequently refers his clients to others that handle the matters that he does not, like taxes and trusts.

Education is vitally important in this business and that is why David takes advantage of many different educational programs each year and reads business publications constantly so he can be a resource to his clients.

Teaching

David teaches retirement classes through Mills College in Oakland twice per year. David also teaches retirement planning classes through various employers in the US. He currently teaches classes for NASA, Wayfair, AEG Worldwide, Franklin Templeton and the Peninsula Jewish Community Center.

Clients

The output is a complete plan that uses 1,000 different simulations to determine the potential for a client’s plan to be successful. David is an expert in retirement income planning and has helped 100’s clients move from the accumulation phase (working) to the distribution phase (retirement). He understands all of the distribution strategies and applies the right one for each client. David works with businesses in the areas of deferred compensation, executive bonus plans, and building wealth outside of the business as well as tax reduction strategies. David also brings his specialty of working with family owned or closely held businesses in the areas of buy/sell agreement planning and succession planning (passing the business to the next generation while minimizing estate taxes).
