Free – financially

Nothing quite compares to the feeling of freedom – true freedom.

And every year, celebrating the Fourth of July serves to remind us of our hard-earned freedoms as Americans, and most importantly, that independence is worth fighting for.

Have you considered that financial independence is also a type of freedom? For some, it’s having enough wealth to live a life of comfort without the need to work. But some people have no desire to ever quit working. They just want enough money to be comfortable and stay out of debt. For others, financial independence means freedom from worry when they retire, relaxing and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Others see it as simply being able to be there for the people who need them.

Whatever it means to you, unless you win the lottery or inherit a fortune, financial independence will only happen if you are willing to go after it. And as with the political independence we fought for in 1776, your financial independence starts with a declaration. What are you fighting for?

Tell me your thoughts, and these articles can aid in your pursuits as well. Enjoy, and happy Independence Day!
